Fight plan
Haybot strategy
Haybot’s opening disguise tricks first-timers into standing still. Circle the barn’s outer path so arm sweeps miss, then strike when the camouflage drops and metal weak points read clearly. Franky’s setup work earlier in the chapter is what makes those windows exist—do not skip barn objectives.
Phase two accelerates the robot’s aggression with longer combos across the central floor. Keep stamina for repositioning instead of greedy third hits, and use the loft-side openings as reset lanes. Great Mighty Poo is a corn puzzle; Haybot is pure melee geometry.
01Enter ready
Finish Franky/Reg/Ron tasks so Haybot’s barn arena is actually unlocked with tools available.
02Learn cycle
Watch one full arm-sweep and charge pair before committing the bat.
03Commit damage
Hit only after hay camouflage drops and metal reads cleanly.
04Leave
Bank Barn Boys cash and return to Windy for the next gate.

FAQ
Haybot FAQ
Search answers unique to Haybot.
When do I fight Haybot?
At the end of Barn Boys (chapter 3), after sewer and tool segments. If the barn will not progress, finish Franky/Reg/Ron tasks first.
Any L&R-only tricks?
Models read cleaner than N64, but the multi-form structure remains. Clang Goblings elsewhere in the chapter can chip you before the boss—clear them so you enter healthy.
